Privacy Policy

Haksoo Kim ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our") built the Gymlog application ("App") as a free application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Gymlog does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. Specifically:

• No account required. The App does not require you to create an account, sign up, or log in.
• No analytics. We do not use any analytics services (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude).
• No crash reporting. We do not use any crash-reporting services (such as Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry).
• No advertising. The App does not display advertisements and does not integrate any advertising SDKs.
• No in-app purchases. The App does not offer subscriptions, in-app purchases, or any form of payment processing.
• No location data. The App does not access your device's location services.
• No microphone access. The App does not access your device's microphone.

2. Data Storage

All data you create in Gymlog — including workout sessions, exercise sets, body measurement records, and exercise photos — is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it (see Section 4).

We have no ability to access, view, or retrieve your data.

3. Device Permissions

Gymlog may request the following permissions:

• Camera: Used to take photos of exercises or body progress. Photos are stored locally on your device.
• Photo Library: Used to select existing images from your device for exercise records or data import/export.

These permissions are optional. The App will ask for your consent before accessing the camera or photo library and will only use them for the purposes described above.

4. Data Export and Import

Gymlog provides the ability to export your workout data to a file and import data from a file. This functionality is entirely user-initiated:

• Export creates a data file that you can share via the system share sheet. Where and how you share it is under your control.
• Import reads a data file you select from your device.

We do not receive or process any exported or imported data.

5. Third-Party Services

Gymlog does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The App uses only open-source libraries for local functionality (database management, charting, notifications, etc.).

6. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect any personal information from any user, it is inherently compliant with children's privacy regulations.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
